Our Swaybar is a softer rate than the stock unit, allowing the axle to move more independently side to side. This smooths out off camber bumps, pot holes, and even simply turning into a drive way.

Details:

Uses no solid joints like Heim joints or solid bushings. In this application, Heims can become noisy very early in the life-cycle, with the Swaybar moving so much.
6 grease Zerk fittings used throughout the assembly.
Same proven JKS Poly orbital joints as used on our other Swaybar Links.
Not recommended if you have a much higher center of gravity. For example, a slide in camper, or a heavy Roof Top Tent(RTT) equipped Overlanding build.
Our Active Rate Sway Bar functions great with heavy Gooseneck and 5th wheel towing, heavy weight in the bed below the top rail, or heavy weight on the bumper receiver hitch.
May interfere with some steering box braces, check your brace to make sure a straight bar will clear.

Fantastic

This is easily the best change I’ve made to the ride quality of my 4th gen megacab srw, it was also the last remaining stock component under the truck. I can’t believe I waited this long to change it. The truck tracks straight and controlled at high speeds on forestry roads now, it doesn’t feel like its rattling to pieces on backroads or bouncing from one hole to another like it used to. It’s still a heavy, slow, 1 ton, but all off center bumps seem to disappear with this track bar and you can feel the suspension eating it all up the way it’s supposed to. Cons: At 80mph on the interstate the whole truck tilts more in the corners or when changing lanes. That’s the trade off for more control at low speed. It’s not dangerous, but it is noticeable. Well worth the purchase.

Active sway bar 2010 Ram 3500

Adding this sway bar to my 2010 Ram 3500 mega cab was the cherry on top to my upgraded suspension. I added coils, shocks, track bar and then this sway bar was the finishing touch. It lets the trucks body 'roll' a bit more than stock so instead of jarring bumps, you get more of a rocking boat motion. Which I will take over a rougher ride anyday. I have a DOR steering box brace and it did not interefere with the sway bar.
