The original goal of the Thuren 1994-2013 "Xtra-Soft" front coils coils was to address the HEMI and Power Wagon trucks, but these are PLENTY durable to be used as an extra soft front coil on the Diesel trucks also.

We actually prefer these XS coils on the 1994-2002 Diesel trucks over the true Diesel 2" and 3" coils, as the 2nd gens are quite a bit lighter than the 2003-2013 trucks.

The XS coil free-height is the exact same 22" as our standard Diesel coils, so full flex and ultimate wheel travel is still available, as long as all the appropriate shocks are used.

  • Fits 1994-2013 Ram 4 Wheel Drive, Solid Axle 4 link trucks
  • Does not fit the 2013+ Ram 3500, or the 2014+ 2500 and Power Wagon.

Details:

  • Be sure you measure Your Specific Truck to find the lift height you like. 
  • Being very soft, the end lift height will vary quite a bit if weight is added to the front of the vehicle.

    Huge improvement over stock, but it does not ride like a 1500.

    2010 Ram 2500 with Cummins. I installed these XS coils along with Fox 2.0 on all four corners. I also have the Thuren track bar. I will say, the ride is very plush compared to the stock suspension and Bilsteins I had on there. But don't believe all the hype about these making a 3/4 Heavy Duty truck ride like a 1500. That is utter ridiculous. Much much improved, but not a 1500 ride.

    Love these xs performance coils

    Im So happy I went with these coils for my 04 cummins. Paired with thuren control arms and bilstein shocks all from them very happy. It doesn't have that rattler going over train racks or rough roads. And there such a good price as well definitely worth it.

    What a difference in ride!! Plus a 2" lift ..I paired them with the 5100 Biltstein shocks and it rides like a 1500 now! Thank you!

    XS coils

    I added the XS coils to my 2010 3500 mega cab coupled with the Fox shocks and what a difference it has made. Road chatter is dampened drastically, and it's now a 'push' feel when I hit bumps/potholes instead of a jarring feeling like with the stock components. It also lifted my front end about 1.5" (with an aftermarket steel bumper).

    The parts look good no complaints. Only been on the truck a few days so to early to give any review regarding long-term, however shock towers are a simple part and I don't see any issues coming. Glad I found these as I recently bought new shocks and wasn't thrilled about buying another longer set after deciding to get new coils that added 2.5" of lift.
