If you are having any steering or handling issues, our Trackbar upgrade is the first place to start! Our Trackbar is designed to be very rigid, with as close to ZERO deflection as possible.

Often people will think that having a rigid track bar will give steering vibration and rattle, but this is simply not true, being that the Trackbar is the only support for the steering linkage. The less deflection in the Trackbar, the less deflection in the steering. Simple as that!

Fitment:

  • If you have a 2003-2007 truck, read the below bolt size note before ordering!!
Details:

  • Everything except the Heim Joint and hardware is manufactured in house from raw materials.
  • Made from 1.50"x3/8" wall 1026 DOM tube.
  • Delrin machined frame side bushing.
  • CNC machined form threaded Heim joint tube end.
  • Bead blast textured, then high quality Powder Coated.
  • Adjustable length (within spec)
  • Grease fitting for frame bushing.
  • Extreme duty FK Teflon lined rod end at axle side.
  • DOES NOT FUNCTION WITH LARGER AFTERMARKET DIFF COVERS!!!!!

Note: From 2003 to approximately 2007.5, these trucks used 14mm(shank size) bolts on both ends of the Trackbar. Then around the middle of 2007, some trucks were coming with a 14mm bolt on the frame side and a 16mm bolt on the axle side.

If you have a 2003-2007 truck and you're unsure if you have mismatched hardware, you should purchase the above 2008-2013 option with hardware included, and plan to possibly drill out the mounting flange(s) to a bigger 5/8"(16mm) hole.

Regardless, If you have a 2003-2007 truck, we highly recommend you upgrade to the 2008-2013 option with hardware included, as the 14mm OEM hardware is engineered too small in our opinion.

    Track Bar and Steering Dampener

    My ‘13 2500 had a violent death wobble on the interstate. I read Thuren’s thread and ordered the Track Bar and Steering Dampener 2 days later. It completely fixed it and it now drives and rides better than the day I bought it. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand. The 33mm Crows Foot was a life saver in torquing the jam nut. Yall make great products and made a lifelong customer out of me. Thanks!

    Built very sturdy. I ordered with the OEM bolt kit and drilled out the mounting holes. Seems to drive better and cut down on the wondering.

    What a difference!

    Replaced every steering component under the truck and it still drove terribly. I was so tired of dumping money into it and was getting ready to give up on it but this track bar is what solved all my problems. Turns out the original mounting holes were worn out and no longer round. I also have a leveling kit and original trac bar. I followed the instructions and installed it within an hour. Straightened out the steering wheel and took it for a test drive and it was better than new. Very responsive no more bump steer and the loose steering feeling was gone. 100% recommend to anyone with these trucks.

    Much more solid than stock.

    Definitely a quality upgrade over the factory track bar. Useful tips and easy installation. Truck takes bumps and feels much more grounded to the road.

    Great product.

    Overall great product. Fixed the death wobble I’ve been fighting. But the one thing you could offer is a heim joint boot.
