Our soft-rate coil springs are the perfect blend of a soft ride, high performance, and great control. Starting with the 2014 Power Wagon, Ram decided to design the front coil spring mounts at an angle. This presented major design problems, as the coil has a very hard time standing straight, without a massive bend in the coil when loaded. Regardless, with some tricky engineering we were able to combat the angled seats, and design a coil which stands very straight installed, especially compared to the factory Power Wagon coils.

  • Be sure you measure YOUR SPECIFIC TRUCK to find the lift height you like.
  • 100% made in the USA.
  • 6% stiffer than the OEM coils, without loosing any travel. I felt the OEM front Power Wagon coils were too soft.
  • If not purchasing our shocks to work with these coils, please contact us to make sure your shocks will function properly. Even aftermarket shocks by application for a leveling kit with stock coils, will not work properly, as they are much too short extended and the damping rates are way off.
  • Each 5160 alloy spring is fully CNC computer formed and tested, using the most high-tech manufacturing processes.
  • designed to still use factory compression/bump travel. No bump drops needed.
  • No radius arm drops required, being that these coils are designed around the OEM bump travel constraints.
  • Proven Linear rate design, just like all of our other coils, to prevent inconsistent feel through the range of motion.

2021 Ram 2500 Power Wagon with 37s

These coils did exactly what I needed them to do. I was advised by an AEV rep that these, paired with AEV Katlas, would give me the best possibility of clearing a 37 inch tire. They work perfectly and the install was simple. These are much beefier than the stock coils.

Great ride

Installed with Fox shocks, track bar and rear track bar on 2021 Powerwagon. Rides smooth and definitely not as jarring over bumps as factory springs. Went with 1.5 and leveled it pretty close. Totally happy with experience. Plus customer service and Don are great people to deal with. Absolutely no issues. Thanks Don!

1 1.5 thuren springs

Installed and yes could tell difference in height but when measured on flat leveled surface original OEM springs had a measurement of 26.5 from center of wheel to bottom of fender well. The rear at 28. So after install it changed by just .5 in front. I know weight of engine has a lot to do with possible measurement but I was hoping to get within .5 to the rear. Soft ride. More straight of a spring.

Took forever

Waited over 2 months from day of order and they could not even provide common Curtsy of express shipping.

Joseph sorry about the timeline. It's the way of the world right now, and not manufacturing these coils in-house leaves me no control on that. Regarding the shipping. We sent you a 50 pound box more than half way across the country at no-cost to you, but that cost us $35. To expect us to pay $168 to express ship these $360 pair of coils to you is pretty unreasonable. I hope the coils perform well I think that is what people here want to know.

Hands down the best thing you can do to your Power Wagon!

I installed the 1 1/2 lift front springs and overland shocks on my 2020 PowerWagon that carries a Four Wheel camper full time. Hands down these improved the ride 5 fold. The springs are seriously nothing short of amazing. The ride and handling characteristics have changed dramatically. Way more compliant and controlled, off road and on road. If your on the fence, easy choice just go for it. Install was pretty straight forward too if you want to tackle it yourself. Just make sure you have good quality jack stands, and yes you will need two floor Jack's to position the axle up and down. Took about 4 hours,
