When we got our Ram RHO in Jan 2025, we quickly found out that if you take your TRX/RHO off road, the roost from the front tires absolutely obliterates the underside of the truck! This is exaggerated because of the Slip-Clutch Transfer case, which will put more power to the front differential under heavy throttle. Full-Time 4x4 makes it so the front tires are always kicking up rocks and gravel, while under power.
While shock testing, our rear King Shocks lower Blue Anodized shaft ends were sandblasted back to raw aluminum, in less than 200 Off-Road miles. Evidence of large rocks hitting the axle was also very apparent, and this kit also helps deflect those large rocks.
Our first design test was basically a failure, as the mounting was too high, and the rubber was too flexible, so there was very little protection at all when at speed and the rubber started bouncing around. Many months and revisions later, we now have a really effective product!
