Our Active-Rate sway bar is a softer spring rate compared to the stock OEM unit, allowing the axle to move and articulate more independently, side to side.

This softer rate smooths out off-camber bumps, pot holes, curbs, etc.

Fitment:

  • Fits 2013-2024 Ram 3500 SRW and DRW
  • Fits stock height unmodified trucks through lifts up to 3" height
  • Not recommended if you have a much higher center of gravity, for example, a slide in camper.
  • NOTE: Some add-on steering braces may interfere with our Sway Bar. If you have one, email us a picture of your brace to verify compatibility.

Details:

  • Clears 37x12.5 tires on stock wheels, with no rub on the sway bar
  • Compliment with Thuren Alien Arms, to get full zero-rub turning radius with 37x12.5's and high positive-offset, tucked in wheels
  • Stainless steel frame bushing clamps and joint sleeves
  • 6061 Aluminum machined Sway Bar Links.
  • Uses no solid joints like Heim joints or solid bushings
  • 6 grease zerk fittings used throughout the assembly. In this application, non -greasable joints can become noisy early in the life-cycle
  • Same proven JKS Poly orbital joints as used on all Thuren Sway Bar Links

Not recommended if you have a much higher center of gravity. For example, a slide in camper, or a heavy Roof Top Tent(RTT) equipped Overlanding build.

Our Active Rate Sway Bar functions great with heavy Gooseneck and 5th wheel towing, heavy weight in the bed below the top rail, or heavy weight on the bumper receiver hitch.

    Top notch Thuren quality...as always!

    This sway bar was the last suspension piece to be installed on the front end of my 2020 3500 Megacab. Made a significant improvement in ride quality, weight transfer, lateral body movement, handling and transmission of road "noise" to the truck. Front end is very responsive and handles much better than previously.

    This is the 2nd truck I've built using Thuren parts and, as always, they don't disappoint. Great fabrication, great product, excellent instructions, robust shipping packaging and extremely knowledgeable about their craft and these trucks.

    3500 leveling springs.

    Made the ride on my 16 Ram so much better. Did the 1.75 springs and sway bar. Made the ride much more tolerable.

    Absolutely top quality fit and finish and most importantly function. Absolutely gives a less “bouncing side to side” ride when off road. No rubbing with 35x11.5x20” tires on factory rims with no lift on a 24 ram 3500.

    This truck has been my daily driver for the last four years and completely stock. The stock ride left much to be desired as far as comfort. After alot of research and advice I decided on Thuren. I wanted to upgrade one part at a time so I could evaluate the difference in ride quality for each part. The first addition was the Thuren sway bar. The product showed up quickly and packaged well. The quality of the part is exceptional. Installation was quick and easy. The difference in ride quality is substantial for this being the only part changed. I would say it took half of the harshness out of the front end suspension. If you're wondering if this part alone makes a difference.....it does. Big thanks to Thuren for great advice and a superior part.
