Regular price $220.00Compared to our Fox 2.0 shocks, the tuning in the Bilstein 5100 shocks is a bit more firm, but not so firm as to make the ride quality stiffer than OEM suspension.
If you like a less floaty more planted sports-car feel, or have some weight added to the truck especially with a high center of gravity, these shocks are a great option!

*The length of the BIL-24-455 and BIL-24-464 rear shocks works well with up to a 1.5" tall rear coil spacer, with both our coils, or the OEM coils.
*If you have OEM factory rear air-bag suspension, you can use the BIL-24-455 shocks ONLY IF you install a 1" to 2" rear airbag spacer/lift kit. We do not sell anything like this you'd have to source elsewhere. The BIL-24-455 shocks will be too long otherwise and you could risk airbag damage, if you don't use a spacer/lift under the OEM rear airbags with these shocks.

Had a customer at our shop that hated how harsh the ride of his new RAM 2500 Hemi had. Had the stock RAM springs in the front and back with 2" spacers in the front to fit larger wheels/tires. After researching this issue we came across Thuren Fabrication and decided it was worth a try. We removed the customer's 2" spacers and installed the 2" front lift springs from Thuren and Thuren's 1/2" lower rear spring with the soft rate (as well as the associated 5100 series Bilstein shocks on the front and back). Got a call from the customer on his ride home after the install stating how pleased he was with the ride ("rides like a truck, not the cement mixer that it felt like before").
Will definitely use Thuren again when we have a customer with similar issues in the future.

Fast and accurate
Great speedy and accurate delivery.
I haven't had much time on them as it is not my daily driver. Coupled with the springs the harshness is gone out of the front end. By no means is it a Cadillac, but it's a much nicer ride.
