Regular price $45.00The original equipment upper rear shock mounting nuts are very hard, if not almost impossible, to get a standard wrench on. Cutting down a wrench to make it fit the space available, is often your only option.
To avoid cutting wrenches and wasting time, this set gives you a custom laser cut wrench for removing the OEM nuts, and 2 new nuts with tabs attached to make servicing the rear shocks much easier!

The Shock Nut Set was a HUGE time and knuckle saver for installing the new rear shocks on my 2018 RAM 1500! Without the tool and modified nuts, the job would have taken a LOT longer and been very difficult. They were worth every penny!! I saw a YouTube video where the guy spoke highly of the shock nut set and after looking at the upper shock mount I jumped on this purchase!
Worked great and solved a problem I didn't know existed before researching the job. Little pricey but makes the job easy.
Used the tool and new nuts to replace the rear shocks on my 2019 Laramie. Chrysler should have made these.
If you're replacing the rear shocks on your truck this is a must have kit, taking off the upper bolt near the gas tank was a nightmare trying to get a socket on to the bolt itself and trying to loosen it. Having this kitten place will make shock replacement in the future so much more easier. If you're a do-it-yourself person spend the extra cash and get this kit.
