Consider adding Shock Boots to protect the shock shafts. With exposed shock shafts, regular Off-Road, and winter ice and snow conditions where they gravel and salt roads, can quickly ruin shocks.
The gravel from other vehicles in front of you or from your front tires, bouncing around under your truck, can chip the shock shaft. This will cause the shocks to leak, and this is not covered under warranty. Mud and salt dried on the shafts, can penetrate the seals during use, and this is also not covered under warranty.

1994-2013 Dodge Ram 2500 Fox 2.0 IFP Shocks
Current mods: Carli short arm control arms, Carli sway bar, Carli track bar, brand new Mopar T-style steering, and red head gear box. Truck steers and drives very well……..but goodness it’s a rough ride. It also has stock Michelin LTX tires with factory aluminum wheels.
I wanted to keep the truck classic looking and as close to factory as I could. After way too much over thinking, I purchased Thuren XS coils and Thuren spec Fox shocks. Results are incredible. Sooooo much better ride quality. All the bumps that made my drive miserable around town, are now clam and reasonable. Some bumps and cracks I can’t even feel anymore. Like most 3rd gen owners I love these trucks, but as I get older the ride was really starting to wear on my back and the family. I truly feel as if these upgrades brought the truck into the new generation truck feel.

I paired the fox shocks with xtra soft coils and the ride is noticeable better. Also if you order straight from thuren no sales tax. Great product highly recommend and have suggested to others already.
Amazing ride! Night and day difference with the 2” coils and fox 2.0s. Doesn’t quite ride like a half ton but what do you expect! It’s a 3/4 dodge. Overall very impressed with the quality and how much smoother the ride is. The fox shocks absorb so much more of the bumps and smooth out the ride. 2” coils are absolutely amazing and so much better built than factory springs and a leveling puck. Amazing company and customer service. 10/10
