Our Swaybar is a softer rate than the stock unit, allowing the axle to move more independently side to side. This smooths out off camber bumps, pot holes, and even simply turning into a drive way. Includes Sway bar, Frame mounts and End links, and hardware.

Details:

Uses no solid joints like Heim joints or solid bushings. In this application, Heims can become noisy very early in the life-cycle, with the swaybar moving so much.
6061 Billet Aluminum Swaybar Links on 0"-4" version.
6 grease zerk fittings used throughout the assembly.
Same proven JKS Poly orbital joints as used in our other swaybar links.
NOTE: Some add-on steering braces may interfere with our Sway Bar. If you have one, email us a picture of your brace to verify compatibility.
Not recommended if you have a much higher center of gravity. For example, a slide in camper, or a heavy Roof Top Tent(RTT) equipped Overlanding build.
Our Active Rate Sway Bar functions great with heavy Gooseneck and 5th wheel towing, heavy weight in the bed below the top rail, or heavy weight on the bumper receiver hitch.
May interfere with some steering box braces, check the brace to make sure a straight bar will clear.

Have bought several products from thuren for several rams they are the best in my opinion from coils, sway bar, and trac bars!

2006 dodge ram 2500 sway bar/ trac bar

This sway bar kit makes a drastic improvement. Definitely feel the difference when turning on uneven terrain and driving in general. Now with it paired up with the trac bar you'll say why didnt do this when first got the truck.

Good buy

Purchased due to stock sway bar links were bad and figured I would upgrade it all. Fairly easy install. Wish the instructions were a bit more detailed. The bolts for the links were a tad too big so I had to hone out the hole a bit more. Was not expecting to do that. The stock bolts were pressed in but looked like they could have been threaded in. Took a chance and beat them until they popped out. My tires are a tad over stock, 285/70/17 and did not rub before, now they rub on the end links. Not too excited about that. Overall you can definitely tell a difference. I go over a lot of uneven terrain and the jolt from side to side with the stock set up is super annoying. This helped out quite a bit. The instructions also mentioned 1/16 from side to side but didn’t mention what to measure from. That was kind of confusing do I just sent it. Would be nice if a installation video was added to the instructions. I do way better with visual references.

Night and day difference

Installed this sway bar 6 months after 2” soft coils and fox 2.0 non resivors and that already made a huge difference. But the sway bar is night and day, wouldn’t expect that much from a solid piece of metal. First impressions from sway bar links were incredible. They are more than twice the size as OEM and are extremely solid built. Welds on everything are incredible. Sway bar ride off-road is amazing. I was able to keep up with my buddys Tacoma on fire roads after install on this even with stock rear leafs. On road ride is way smoother as well. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence.
