Consider adding Shock Boots to protect the shock shafts. With exposed shock shafts, regular Off-Road, and winter ice and snow conditions where they gravel and salt roads, can quickly ruin shocks.
The gravel from other vehicles in front of you or from your front tires, bouncing around under your truck, can chip the shock shaft. This will cause the shocks to leak, and this is not covered under warranty. Mud and salt dried on the shafts, can penetrate the seals during use, and this is also not covered under warranty.
Product Installation Instructions
I was one of those guys who put a RC lift on my truck when I first got it because it was cheap. Don't be that guy. After less than a year, I was taking off the RC shocks and installing these Thuren tuned Fox 2.0's. After 9 months of being on my truck, one of the RC shocks had already blown a seal and had failed. As soon as I backed out of the driveway with these Fox shocks on my truck, I had a smile on my face. My truck used to beat the crap out of me with every road defect, even with 35's on 17" wheels. These shocks are the perfect combo of plush and stable. Thuren is amazing to work with. I'm grateful for their team and the great products they sell.
Bought these Fox Shocks with a full Thuren kit for my 2nd gen and totally transformed my truck.
